Renew your mind. Restore your peace.
Support that meets you where you are and walks with you toward where you want to be.
What You Can Expect
At Renewed Minds Counseling, therapy feels like a real conversation, honest, supportive, and grounded in both clinical expertise and lived experience. I understand what it means to carry a lot and still be expected to show up strong. This is a space where you don’t have to. Here, you can lay it down, be fully seen, and start the work of healing. My approach blends evidence-based practices with a culturally responsive lens, offering care that’s not only professional, but personal and deeply rooted in who you are.
Hi, I’m LaKeisha
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Renewed Minds Counseling. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, high stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I specialize in supporting women who are often carrying multiple roles and expectations, yet rarely have space to prioritize their own emotional well-being. Many of the people I support are used to pushing through and holding it all together, but they’re ready for space to slow down, reflect, and focus on themselves.
Therapy with me offers a place to breathe, feel seen, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. I approach our work with cultural awareness and sensitivity to the unique experiences, pressures, and strengths that shape your story. Together, we’ll explore patterns and thought processes that may be keeping you stuck, develop healthier ways to understand and express your emotions, and take intentional steps toward a life that feels more balanced and aligned.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy to support meaningful and sustainable change. You don’t need to have everything figured out, just a willingness to begin.
My faith shapes how I understand healing, resilience, and renewal. I believe transformation happens when we care for the whole person, mentally, spiritually, and physically. If faith is central to your life, we can intentionally integrate it into your healing journey.
